"Drink of the Gods. An ancient honey-based draught returning, built into a full campaign system with product design, mythology, and 360° media."
The Brief
Design a complete advertising campaign and product design for Mead under the Jack Daniel's brand, targeting the urban upper class with mythology-driven creative.
Designed a cylindrical luxury bottle with hexagonal gold lattice casing, honeycomb geometry communicating origin through packaging. Created the full campaign: poster ads, standees, newspaper "Tales of Mead" pullout, hoarding designs, danglers, and magazine spreads.
Product Design: Mead Bottle
Cylindrical bottle with gold hexagonal lattice exterior, honeycomb-inspired geometry communicating the product's origin (honey) through packaging itself.
Campaign Creative: Mythology
Built the campaign around historical mythology, mead as nectar of the gods, the Last Supper, Greek legend, linking product history to aspirational brand positioning.
Full Media Suite
Poster ads, standees, newspaper advertisements, magazine pullout spreads, hoarding designs, hexagonal danglers, and brand seal system. Complete 360° execution.
"Beer is from grain. Wine is from grapes. Mead is made from honey. That single product truth became the entire campaign."
— Abhinav Kaushal, Campaign Strategy
What I Learned
Packaging IS the brand's first communication. The hexagonal lattice told the mead story before anyone read a word.
History is underused in brand strategy. Connecting mead to mythology gave the product a story no competitor could claim.
