"Dell Technologies handed us a floor. 4,000 sqft. 14 activations. One brief: make sustainability and AI feel real, not corporate."
The Brief
Dell Technologies required a flagship presence at a major technology forum in Bangalore, a space where innovation isn't just showcased, but felt. The challenge was to coordinate 14 concurrent activations, each with its own technical requirements, while maintaining absolute visual and strategic consistency at a massive scale.
I acted as the Strategic Hub and Creative Alchemist, translating Dell's global sustainability and AI mission into five distinct high-fidelity interactive experiences: the Kinetic Pulse DNA screens, an AI-powered Professional Photo Studio, a generative AI Music Studio, an AI-driven Bistro experience, and the Pedal-to-Light sustainability challenge.
Gallery of Possibilities
4,000 sq ft. 14 activations. One unified narrative.
Professional AI Photography
Attendees stepped into a professional studio experience powered by real-time generative AI. In under three minutes, they chose a visual style: Professional Edge, Futuristic Vision, or Playful Fun, and walked away with a LinkedIn-ready portrait that extended Dell's brand engagement far beyond the event floor.
The AI Café
Two personality questions. One perfect coffee recommendation. The AI Bistro translated leadership style and mood into a personalised beverage, turning a functional break into a branded conversation starter and a quiet demonstration of Dell's real-time inference capabilities.
Compose Without Limits
No musical training required. Attendees described their vibe and the AI Music Studio composed a custom 30-second track in real-time, a unique downloadable piece generated entirely from their imagination. Every session was a live proof point for Dell's generative AI infrastructure.
Sustainability as Sport
A 120-second cycling challenge with real-world impact. Every pedal contributed to solar lamps for rural students, making Dell's sustainability mission visceral, competitive, and personal. The installation converted human energy into measurable CSR outcomes in real time.
How We Got There
Kinetic Pulse: DNA Screens
Directed the primary visual anchor: a series of DNA spiral pillar displays and HMRS kinetic rigs. These weren't just screens; they were physical storytellers moving in precise synchronization with the brand's AI narrative.
AI Generative Studios
Led the development of the AI Photo and Music Studios. Attendees received LinkedIn-ready professional portraits or custom 30-second music tracks generated in real-time based on their specific stylistic inputs.
Sustainability as Experience
Transformed abstract CSR goals into a competitive physical challenge. The Pedal to Light installation converted human energy into solar lamps for students, making the impact of Dell technologies immediate and personal.
The Trade-offs
Kinetic DNA Pillars as visual anchor
Used massive synchronized kinetic displays to create a landmark recognition point, ensuring brand presence was visible from across the entire forum floor.
Dark cinematic palette for visual sanctuary
The contrast between Dell deep brand space and the bright show floor created a visual sanctuary effect, drawing attendees in. Required careful material selection for light management.
AI Generative Studios for personalized value
Instead of passive demos, we created high-value outputs (AI portraits/music) that visitors took home, extending brand engagement far beyond the event.
"The level of technical precision and visual consistency Abhinav maintained across 14 simultaneous activations was unprecedented for our team."

What I Learned
Systems over Aesthetics. In high-stakes experiential design, your role shifts from designer to systems architect. The goal is consistent performance under the pressure of 1,000+ simultaneous interactions.
The Narrative is the Anchor. 14 activations aren't 14 products; they are one story told through 14 different lenses. Success depends on holding that singular narrative thread through the chaos of live production.
